One of My Possible Passions

Image ©2009 Bl3ed It Out
Hello, it has definitely been a minute, and I know you are wondering what the heck is this guy doing up so early, well guess what creativity never sleeps. As well just enjoying the fact that I have been granted another year on this earth. So I want to share with you one of my recent projects, requested by a fellow classmate, and home boy. He wants a continuation of a current tattoo and again I had and have complete creative control over this! Thank you sir for that. The image shown is only half of the tattoo, and the other side will just be a mirror so, I dont think that it will be too hard for you to imagine that? Here ya go let me know what you think.

Lil Wayne TShirt Contest

A competition held by Designed By Humans, which on my blog will always after this be referred to DBH. It was to represent Lil Wayne and this is the design I chose that would represent maybe one of the greatest rappers alive. Here is the meaning behind the design:This design is based off of some of Lil Wayne’s upbringings, also heard in his song. He is from 17th ward New Orleans, Louisiana (NOLA). The streets he was raised on were Apple and Eagle St.. I chose the color of the shirt because it reminded me of what it looked like as it was scanned in, also kind of hinting on the post Katrina New Orleans which still isn’t 100% to this day.

Artist|Classic Stylez Album|Dollar And A Dream

Release the Artistic Creativity!
Dollar And A Dream Cover
Temporary Tracklisting

This was kind of my first sense of artistic freedom when it came to an album cover, and again it took a while, with a lot of step away time. I feel like this does fit the title. I tried to avoid the whole dollar theme because I know that this artist is not about that. And so I used illustrator for almost everything, except of course the photo effects. The image i feel shows how a dream is coming to light as the artist is dusting off this "dream" and uncovering a beautiful image. Credit goes to the photographers again, and the fonts. Thanks for this opportunity Classic! Check out these tracks at www.datpiff.com or and preferably www.classicstylezmusic.com

Tracklisting
I can say this took a minute to get right, but once it did, it was right. If you know of the N.E.R.D album "In Search Of....." You will see some similarities, but they did not come to mind until after the art was done! I do however give credit to the font maker, and the photographer, soon most of it will be me! i.e. photos and adobe work. Check out this album again at www.datpiff.com or www.jonwestmusic.com

Next Day, Past Memories

Since I am a blog about the evolution, and the creation of conscientious creations, I figured that you the reader needs to see some of what BIO does and the capabilities that it can do. Please leave comments let me know, opinion does matter and ideas never go ignored! This is a flyer that I was requested to do for a pit-bull kennel. The owner wanted a logo that looked like a NOLA street sign, and then the rest was to my experience. I feel that I did a good job.

Hello World

Greetings, My name is Broderick Whitlock and I like to introduce my self as the Chief Creative Officer of Bleed It Out. A little bit on how this idea of BIO became what it is now, and what it will be in the future. I recently graduated from Clemson University, with a Bachelors in Architecture, well I 'd like to consider it more of a design degree. While at Clemson, I participated in a competition for a building that was on campus, and the owner wanted something different, and what they chose was about the same. That Sparked me to create a company that would exercise the freedom that we have called creativity. I feel that everyone has their own sense artistic respect, appreciation, and so on, as well there are some that fear art, which may just be a mechanism response of them not understanding it. I want BIO other than a design company be an inspire company, what that helps people find these artistic avenues, with self expression, that I feel is our last true FREEDOM.
